A lot of people just comment on comments in the comment section. Is that how it is done?

There is certainly no obligation to do so. If one chose to, it would make more sense to respond to the comment.

Is there a comment “courting time” before you can make an indirect "adult toy" reference?

It depends on the recipient, I guess. I would probably roll my eyes if someone I didn't know left me that comment in the same context. I wouldn't be freaked out and offended, but I wouldn't be enticed to check out his blog either.

--LiviAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3701429128385577996.post-5594066015380098422007-02-16T21:30:00.000-08:002007-02-16T21:30:00.000-08:00There is probably some sort of etiquette guide som...There is probably some sort of etiquette guide somewhere. I think by reading peoples blogs you can get an idea what you can write and what you shouldn't. You have left hilarious comments on my blog from the beginning. I knew I liked you from first comment. Bring it on!

SueSuehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06499942288657696289noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3701429128385577996.post-52298999062477883012007-02-16T11:30:00.000-08:002007-02-16T11:30:00.000-08:00One of my favorite comments from you:Before I was ...One of my favorite comments from you:
Before I was in "Bleak Future" I was in another movie business. In the credits you would see me listed as secondary penis, stunt penis, or talking penis. :)

I totally cracked up! Of course, it was a post about that poor guy who had a penis transplant so... there ya go. Too funny!

I'm sure there's some kind of blog-comment-etiquette as things can be easily misinterpreted but, geez, c'mon... the author can always delete the comment or go back to someone's place and ask what it was all about. And you have never hidden your identity when making a comment. When I get those anonymous jerks who make yucky comments... I delete 'em! Pfftt...

I don't think you are offensive. I think you are funny and kind and thoughtful and full of mischief. That's why I keep coming back here! :)

So, go on with yer bad-self!
You can comment to your heart's desire over at my place.
I love to make up dirty words to the word verification. Does that offend you? ha!
U A KzUd Baby!NBhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08693376789638443376noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3701429128385577996.post-66177868134410186192007-02-16T08:49:00.000-08:002007-02-16T08:49:00.000-08:00Uhh, I was the kid goofing off in the back of the ...Uhh, I was the kid goofing off in the back of the class while blog etiquette was taught, so maybe you shouldn't ask me.

I think if you're one of those people who likes to reply to your comments in your own comment section, it's nice when you go to a first time commentor's page and let them know that's your thing. But I wouldn't say it's necessary. We're smart people around here and can figure it out.

I think everyone know's how to work the volume control on their computer's, too, so I don't think it's a problem having music on your page.

And snappy comments are why I blog, silly!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
