Sometimes Less Is More

I’m not sure what to make of the message my son is trying to send me. I don’t think my wife would appreciate his suggestion.

Father’s Day this year was uneventful, the way I wanted it. I got up early to do the yard work before the temperature outside hit triple digits. Then I came inside and kicked the kids outside. I got to watch most of the U.S. Open, I watched a movie (Slither- very gross, very funny), and Sherri made me dinner.

Sweet.

Slither - very you. Surf & Turf - very good (although it may be a little hot for me). The card - very Austin.

Sweet indeed.

Love the card! lol I don't know what to make of the message either. lol Kids are great, aren't they?

Glad you had a wonderful, uneventful Father's Day!

I'm glad to read that you had a nice day. Sometimes, the very best thing is to just be able to do exactly what you want without the over-bearing feeling that you "should" be doing something.
Do you drive a Corvette?
I imagine that you could... and it seems your son can imagine it, too.
;)

Nat- I used to have a redneck truck like you, but I had to trade it in for a mini-van when I adopted the kids. :(

Chris- It was mediun hot. Serve it on rice. Pretty easy to make.

Guinevere- Yes they are, yes they are.

I think the message in that card is that your son thinks good old dad is still a "happenin' guy" and would appeal to the "ladies". *laughs*
